Connect your AI and prepare your assembly manual
Formlore works with an external AI environment that can read your material and call the product tools. Check the capabilities of the exact environment you use, not only its brand name.
Required capabilities
- Inspect product photos, parts diagrams and manual pages.
- Make HTTP requests with an Authorization header and read JSON responses.
- Read the preview images returned by the tools and use errors to correct the draft.
Connect and keep the key private
Create a product on a computer and copy its complete prompt. It includes a product-scoped, time-limited authorization. Keep it in the intended AI conversation; never publish it or place it in a URL. The key cannot publish a tutorial. Reading the public documentation alone does not establish a product connection.
If connection fails
- Check that the prompt is complete and the environment can actually make authorized HTTP requests.
- If the AI can only provide advice or cannot inspect images, use an environment with those capabilities.
- If authorization expires or is rejected, return to the product connection page. Keep critical source questions visible; do not remove them to pass validation.
Prepare enough source material
Include the parts list, clear installation faces and order, and known dimensions. Reasonable noncritical illustrative dimensions can be recorded as assumptions. Unknown targets, directions or order that change installation correctness must be confirmed. Existing authored tutorial text is not automatically translated when you change the interface language.
Technical reference
The public Skill explains the workflow; live OpenAPI and Schema define exact fields. Only use documentation from the same Formlore origin. External AI billing and handling of material follow that provider’s terms. No particular consumer chat window is claimed to support the tools without a recorded test.
